Maybelline Mascaras

As many of you may know Maybelline has a thing with creating some of the greatest mascaras ever!!! I am going to do a review on some that I have used. So with out further ado......

Big Eyes: I love this mascara because it has two brushes, one for the top lashes and one for the bottom lashes! I love the brush for the bottom lashes I think that it does really good at applying the mascara to them! (don't know if that was the right wording) The formula is really good also! It makes my lashes look very long!

The Falsies: I absolutely LOVE this mascara! It adds lots of volume to your lashes so if you are a fan of thick lashes I would recommend this.

The Rocket: I really really liked this one! It makes my lashes look so long and so full of volume! It is really difficult to get off, although! (as I mentioned before) All in all I really really liked this one!

The Colossal: This mascara, out of all the ones I have tried is probably my least favorite. It makes your lashes look fuller, but about five minutes after you put it on it smudges. On the other hand, the waterproof stays on really well and doesn't clump when you get in the water.

Makeup I am taking on My trip!

So I am taking a little trip next Monday so I decided it would be fun to show you what makeup I am taking on my trip. I will only be gone 5 days so you might be wondering why I am bringing so much makeup it is pretty much because me and my friends are planning on doing blind makeovers and normal makeovers.

Ok, so here we go! So above here is a little look at all the makeup I am bringing. My makeup bag is from Target and it is the brand, SOHO. I love it! You can buy it here. It is part of a collection so there are other ones that are like it!

Alrighty, so I am bringing this pallet that I got from Ulta last Christmas season. I love this the colors are super pigmented and I also really really love the colors in this pallet.

I am also bringing this pallet that I believe or not got from Ross (sue me) but all in all I really love the colors in this one. I use the colors in this one a lot.

Sorry the picture wouldn't rotate. But this is what the inside of my makeup bag looks like.

So the first pocket is the smallest and in there I keep:
  • Elf liquid eyeliner in black
  • Wet n' Wild Mega Last Long Wear lipsticks in the shades:12, 11,10,07, and 01
  • Color Whisper's: in Coral Ambition and One size fits pearl
  • Maybelline Super Stay 14 hour lipstick in Ultimate Blush
  • Maybelline Moisture Extreme lipstick in Royal Red
  •  mini Girl Meets Pearl.

Sorry about the glare! But the second pocket is only a little bit bigger than the first. And in here I have:
  •  Clean Start ,Wash Off
  • LaSplash liquid eyeliner in silver dollar
  •  Elf Zit Zapper
  • Wet n' Wild eyeliner in Dark Brown
  •  Maybelline Big eyes mascara (waterproof)
  •  Essence I <3 Stage eyeshadow base
  • Maybelline The Rocket mascara (waterproof)
  •  Elf Total face brush
  • Elf eye shadow brush
  •  Elf eye defining brush
  • Elf clarifying pressed powder
  • Maybelline Dream Matte Powder
  • Covergirl blush in cheekers
  • Wet n' wild trio in Walking on Eggshells.

Then in the last pocket is the biggest and in here I have:
  • Up and Up Facial Moisturizing Lotion (I know pathetic right)
  • Vaseline
  •  Q-tips
  •  Tresemme mini hairspray
  • pink compact
  • Benefit "I'm glam therefore I am" makeup kit.

Then Obviously I am bringing makeup remover wipes.

Favorite E.L.F products:)

I for one think that elf products are really goods considering there price. They are really cheap and have pretty dang good quality. So without further ado I have just a couple products that are my favorite!
Clarifying Pressed Powder! I love this stuff. I think that this is an excellent powder. It actually gives really good coverage and covers all my redness and gives a really good matte finish. It also helps to treat and prevent breakouts.

Blush and Bronzing Duo! This is a really good dupe for the Nars blush and bronzing duo. I love the blush and for that matter the bronzer!

Professional Brushes! I love their brushes they are usually only like 3 bucks and they are really good and soft. I honestly do not feel the need to buy really expensive makeup brushes when these ones are just as good and are really cheap and I can pretty much replace them anytime I want.

Luscious Liquid Lipsticks! I have like 10 of these I love them so much! They are really pigmented and are just amazing. I think they stay on really long and are just nifty and awesome!

Zit Zapper! I love this thing soooooo much! It takes away all the redness of a pimple so you can't see it as much. It helps to get rid of it also! It is an awesome spot treater!

Maybelline The Rocket Mascara- Review

Here is a review for y'all!  Maybelline the Rocket Mascara! Ok so I purchased this a while ago and have just finally gotten around to doing a review for it. I really have been enjoying this mascara. However, (well at least for me) I find it next to impossible to take it off. BUT it does make my eyelashes look very long and full. So If you are looking for a good mascara that will do just that (cause that it is pretty much the point of mascara) this mascara is great for just that. Another thing is that even though it is hard to take off the waterproof kind isn't exactly waterproof. It doesn't stay on like I would think a waterproof mascara should! If you are looking for a good waterproof mascara I recommend the Neutrogena Healthy Volume Mascara in waterproof. But all in all I thought this mascara was excellent and would recommend it. :)

(p.s) Maybelline Big Eyes Mascara Review coming soon :)

Most Moisturizing Lip Products! (In My Opinion)

If you are like me you need chapstick (or some form of it) constantly! It seems like I need chapstick every five seconds! Honestly it is very annoying. So here is a list of my favorite lip products that keep my lips nice and moisturized. :)

Ok of course I pretty much had to mention these suckers! If you have never tried a Maybelline Baby Lips do yourself a favor and go to the store right now and buy one! They are super duper moisturizing and are only like 3 bucks! I personally have gone through like 5 tubes in maybe 3 months (don't judge me).

Burt's Bees! Um this stuff is pretty much amazing! It is very very very moisturzing and never fails me!

Ok these are like my new love! I recently got one of them (the mint one) and it is pretty much the best thing ever! I can't even tell you how much I love these! They are sooooo flippen moisturizing you have no idea!!!!! Words cannot describe how much I love these bad boys!

This is going to sound really un-professinal of me but I find the Lipsmacker Skittles chapstick things to be quit awesome in fact I usually will have one with me! :)

Beauty Tips :)

1. To keep your perfume on longer spray, it on the nape of your neck. This will help it stay on longer and if your hair is down near the nape of your neck it makes your hair smell good!

2. The many uses of Vaseline:  put it on your eyelashes before bed to make them longer and darker, rub it all over your crackled feet and then put socks on then go to bed and wake up with softer feet!, put on your elbows to make softer, and can be used to cure chapped lips :)

3. Toothpaste can be used to pound those nasty pimples

4. To break in shoes put on thick socks then shoes and blast them with a blowdryer on high

5. Spray tights with sticky cheap hairspray to avoid holes and runs

6. Freeze jeans inside a plastic bag for 2 days to zap the odor without running them through the washing machine

7. Spray shirts prone to sweat stains with lemon juice before washing. The natural acid dissolves the alkaline sweat reside that could cause yellow discoloration

8. Make your manicure last  longer by dipping a cotton ball in vinegar and rubbing it across an un-polished nail!

9. Make custom nail stickers by painting designs onto a ziploc bag, let dry, peel off, stick on your and add a top coat!

10. If you can't get a nail polish cap of stick in hot water for 30 seconds

11. use 2 egg yolks lather in your hair for 20 minutes and rinse with shampoo and conditioner for softer shiner hair!
